We welcome your participation in the BoardMatch Fundamentals
program, and wish you success in becoming a board member in the charity or not for
profit organization of your choice.
If you have previously started or completed the online registration process, please log in by using the link at the top of this page.
If you are visiting our website for the first time, and after reviewing the information
below, wish to begin the online registration process click on the "Sign
Up" link at the top of this page. A completed registration and participation in the board orientation learning module (either online or in person) will permit you to search and apply to open board positions online, receive board posting alerts AND with your permission, allow participating organizations to review your background and invite you to interview with them. Prior to completing your registration in full, you may search positions
but may not apply.
CAUTION: BoardMatch Fundamentals does not
pre-screen, nor verify background information provided by prospective board candidates
and participating agencies. Parties are encouraged and expected to engage in their
own due diligence as the matching process progresses.

Qualifications
- Participating organizations are
looking for individuals with the following characteristics:

Interest and enthusiasm

Youth to retirement age

Diversity in ethnicity and life experience

Post-secondary degree (preferred)

2-3 years of work experience (preferred)

Accounting, engineering, finance,
human resources, law, information technology, marketing, public relations, operations,
sales, services etc.

Live or work in Calgary, Fredericton,
Greater Toronto Area, Greater Vancouver or Thunder Bay
BOARD ORIENTATION
LEARNING MODULE
To help prepare you for your role as
a board member we have designed a learning module in both an online and offline
format (classroom session). Completion of the Board Orientation module is required
prior to active participation in the BoardMatch Fundamentals program
