It's an art auction with a twist, instead of bidding dollars, guests bid hours - volunteer hours. All guests will have to do is register on our web site, check out the agencies that need help and pick the opportunities that interest them most. Then, they’re invited to join us for a night-long celebration on Saturday, April 24, 2004, meet with the agencies, make a pledge of 35 hours and get the chance to bid additional hours for one of the 75 pieces of art on display. It's a win -win situation. They get a relevant and meaningful volunteer experience, and a chance to bid on a piece of original artwork as a reminder of their goodwill.
